Fall Trends: Leather Love

Super duper excited for Fall and all the yummy leather that is out and about. It just smells so delicious. A few weeks ago I was cleaning around the house and found some vintage leather bags from my Mom's 80s past! Score! A little leather cleaner and we are good to go!

I am lovin' those boots too much though. Oh and that belt. Hmmmm and those key chain whips. Oh and that vintage whipstitch boho bag is already in my shopping cart! Damn.

Unique OC

If you didn't know already by now... UNIQUE is coming to the OC! So if you didn't have any plans this weekend you should have something to do now.

I'll be making an appearance with some of my lovely lady friends. Not sure if I'll be shopping hardcore since I already found some awesomeness at Renegade... but I am always open to find some amazing prints for our soon-to-be new digs. Ya dig? :)

HAPPY WEEKEND!

I Spy: La La Land

Best life rule I have for myself.... Always be camera ready. I carry all sorts of cameras everywhere I go. You just never know what you are going to see. Every time I make my way through LA I notice something different and exciting. And seriously by no means do I claim myself as a professional photog. Purely artistic and funtastic based.

Let me explain the vision in my brain...

Looks like a fist pumpin' Dinosaur, right?

Font heads! Name that type?!

Palm trees errwhere.

One more... name that font?

Outfit Inspiration - Pixie Market

With my upcoming trip to ITALY in September and all these fashionably fierce trends showing itself all over LA, I can't help to at least try to plan a few awesome outfits for my vacation. I like neutrals, strips, hats and dresses. I wanna pack few items but enough to make some serious outfits. Any suggestions on get pieces to bring along are all welcome. For now I am all over the web thinking and planning my way through ITALY one piece of clothing at a time. ;)

These outfits from Pixie Market are doing it for me... for now.

Lovin' the strips and the Jesus lookin' sandals. Nice breezy dresses and flat boots are great for walking and feelin' romantic in Venice.

Flowy dress to keep the packin' light and easy. More Jesus sandals in the nude.

Both these dresses are BOMB.COM so I just think Imma add to cart right now.

Hollywood Bowl: RENT

The last time I watched RENT was in New York back when Joey Fatone played Mark Cohen. I was young, crazy and completely in love with *NSYNC and Joey Fatone. I waited after the show at the backstage door just to get a glimpse of Joey to take a quick snapshot. Oh and boy did I get a good shot. In that big crowd of other crazies, Joey spotted me. Our eyes locked and he smiled. My knees got weak and as I started to lift up my camera to snap the shot. He pointed out to me and winked.

Winked!

I almost died right then and there. Our moment was almost over, what was I suppose to do again? Was I holding a camera to document this ultra lame event so I could show it to my children 20 years from now? So I could tell them of this life changing tale, as they roll their eyes at their lame mother. Shit! My camera! My picture!

Thank you Joey Fatone for making RENT so memorable for me. And now, thank you Neil Patrick Harris for directing this ultra all star cast and for making it just as awesome as it was the first time around for me. Please note that Vanessa Hudgens was kinda horrible. I would replace that mess quick. But Nicole Scherzinger... hmmmmm... damn..... she killed it as Maureen. AMAZING.

Looks like it was a great night. Obviously.

Twisted Fork - Dan Matutina

Found this designer and illustrator on Think Design a few days ago. Since then, I've been visiting Dan Matutina's site daily in awe of his talent. Dan's work is so beautifully detailed and personally I think his use of simple shapes and textures really showcases his unique style. He is heavily influenced by the social and political issues in the Philippines where is from.
