Emma Watson Style

{images from Teen Vogue}

Who would have thought that Hermione Granger would grow up to be drop dead gorgeous! I am totally diggin' this editorial from Teen Vogue. That purple tutu gown is just amazing. Not like I would wear that out... but the texture alone is worth the hoot n' holla.

Heavenly Weekend: Summer Days in La La Land

Out n' about.

I heart the los angeles freeways.

Vain, vain, vain....

Lunchin' @ Magnolia before our movie adventure.

Oh hello there Optimus Prime! So good to see you!

Kobe watches over LA.

Duh... a little Bikini Bingo after Church on Sundays. Priorities people!! :P

Blurry palms.

Britney getting ready to run the beach with me.

A little vintage Gucci, long car rides and my iphone pretty much sums up my vices.

Pantone's beach blonde highlights.

Finally LA got some really good SUN this weekend and Sonny and I were off chasing the light soaking it all in. After checking out Dwell On Design @ the LA Convention Center we spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out in the city to eat, shop and watched Transformers.

On Saturday we woke up bright and early. Sonny has recently joined the Killer Guppies Dragon Boat team, which by the way he is so excited about, and had his first practice at a special training facility to work on rowing technique. Since he was away doing his own thing I called a few of my workout buddies, Robyn and Chelle, to hit up the Manhattan Beach Sand Dunes. If you have never been at the Sand Dunes I highly recommend you checking it out at least once in your life. After a torturous session of climbing we made our way to the beach to have a hearty breakfast at Uncle Bill’s Pancake House. Yum! The rest of the day was pretty chill and ended off with a BBQ with one of our favorite friends, Cheryl. She BBQed up a storm of goodies and I am pretty sure my Sangria was laced with something because it was just that good.

Sunday, Sonny and I were up early again. He had Dragon Boat practice out in Belmont Shores and I just wanted to spend a little more time at the beach. I found a really nice Dog Beach that Britney and Pantone just adored. I really need to bring treats the next time we go because the second I un-leashed Britney she was off.... In 30 seconds she was clear across the beach!! Thankfully she came back... She probably thought to herself “WHAT AM I DOING!? MY MOMMY LOVES ME SO MUCH! I HAVE FOOD AT HER HOUSE AND A BIG BED TO SLEEP ON”. Talk about the loyalty.

I hope you all had something wonderful to do this weekend. This is a short week and I can’t wait because 4th of July is just a few days away! How will you be celebrating?

Dwell On Design

This morning Son and I went to check out Dwell On Design at the LA Convention Center. I've only been to Graphic Design trade shows in the past so attending this Interior Design show was a real treat. Lots of great inspirational pieces from so many designers and vendors. I especially love how going "Green" was such a trend. Lots of recycled materials and earth friendly alternatives. If you got a chance this weekend to go I would highly recommend it. You'll want to buy everything. I promise!

Writing About ME

Have you ever had to write about yourself? Like on a resume or portfolio site... or for your BLOG?! Well I finally got around to writing my little bio on here and let me just say it was kinda rough. I'm usually used to just rounding out who I am through a series of words like girl... has 2 arms... like puppes, lollipops and gumdrops. The end. But after writing my new bio I felt an overwhelming sense of achievement. Like all those years of college paid off now that I can form sentences that make sense. As weird as this may sound, I kinda learned new things about myself. I encourage you all to write one if you haven't yet and after you're done, read it like 100 times. I bet you'll surprise yourself.

I hope this brings a little insight to all you wondering readers about me and It's Heavenly.

Barbie Goes To Vegas

{all images from Barbie's Facebook Fan Page}

I can't believe it! Barbie finally goes to Vegas! Judging by these pictures it looks like she had a tad bit too much fun. What started as a simple get-a-way to just hang out in her new Palms suite and chill pool side turned into a spontaneous wedding. I am assuming she tied the knot with Ken and not Rico the exotic dancer from Thunder Down Under!!!!! OMG the scandal!

Btw isn't the new Barbie suite @ The Palm just incredible!
Jonathan Alder certainly out did himself with this pink slice of heaven!! Love!

Alice In Wonderland

{images via abc}

How cool is this new remake Alice In Wonderland gonna be? By the sneak peaks it looks like Tim Burton is making it seductive, dark and eerie. While the film is not set to premiere until early 2010, the excitement builds just by peeking at the spectacular characters and set designs.

Check out more of the article here.

Heavenly Weekend: Happy Father's Day

Pantone getting some one on one time with moi!

Sonny and his fancy moustaches.

Downloaded me some Sally's Spa. Too addicting.

Someone's room is turing into a closet. Ugh!

A little bit of country.

Flowers for someone special.

Just a little silly.

Getting out of Chino Hills.

Hydrating.

Sushi night. Obviously it was good since there isn't any food left to photograph. ;)

Our dear ol' Dad.

This weekend was pretty lazy. Son and I actually cancelled all our big plans just to lounge and watch movies all day. Sad and pretty pathetic but sometimes doing absolutely nothing feels so good.

Happy Father's Day to all the awesome Fathers out there. I hope you all had an wonderful weekend cuz here comes Monday. xoxo

Go Lakers!

Ugh! I am so late posting this because I kinda totally forgot to. But after the Laker win last Sunday we hustled over to Disneyland to celebrate with fireworks and to check out the purple and gold castle!! The past week has been jammed packed with the Lakers everywhere. Practically everyone called in sick to hit up the celebration parade in LA... a few lucky ones got to see Kobe LIVE on Conan O'Brien and one specially luck duck got to see Kobe only a few inches away at a Disney media event.

I'm super sad that these babies are already SOLD OUT! Not really surprised but sad I couldn't get a hold of one. Hopefully they'll do a few more runs cuz Nike would totally make some $$$.
