Jobless No More

My joblessness stint only lasted 2 weeks... so now I am preparing to return back to the workforce on Monday. Can you believe it I only got to enjoy my FUNemployment for only a few weeks?! No matter ...I have to be honest and say that being home has its perks but I crave relationships and as much as I love hangin' all day with my dogs... it got kinda lonely.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found work so fast especially with this sick sad economy. I don't think I am a superstar designer or someone who achieve things easily. I really have to thank all the people I have networked with through the years. So as my tip to my readers who are looking for work... Here are some obvious tips for success.

1. Never burn bridges.
2. Update your Linkedin.
3. Make a kick ass Video Resume (or just redo your online portfolio).
4. Don't sweat during the interview.
5. Dress like you have a crush <---- That's Nicole's tip for life (cute huh).

These suckers from Think Geek are awesome Cube decor that I think all of us relate to. The Zombie Cubies are my favorite... they kinda look like some of my new co-workers. ;)

My Big Ass Book

Hooray! I got my Big Ass Book of Crafts last week as a present from my Bestie! I was so excited to get it because *duh* I love crafts! Hopefully I will get crackin' so I can post some of my creations!!!!

Music Is A Gift

For our friends Janet and Aldrich's wedding...they asked us to design something for their wedding give-a-ways. Being that Drich is a DJ... DJ Thrillz... he made a dope ass mix. Now...I've been to a million weddings and I've gotten at least a few hundred music cds from couples as give-a-ways. But this has to be hands down the best I've ever heard. *Thanks Drich again for putting Lucy Pearl on it...I was totally dancing with my eyes closed*

For the wedding Janet got her hands on a gocco press and was able to print the artwork herself on these eco-friendly cd cases. Genius! As for the artwork... Sonny designed the tree and with my input we added the hearts to break up the records. All in all I think the entire give-a-way looked amazing! :D What do you all think?
