Those Sheila Fajl earrings are beautiful and understated, so I can understand what you mean when you intend for it to be worn on a special day! That might be a while off for me but until then, I think I would definitely enjoy it with the ALICE + OLIVIA Silver Curved Hem Tank Dress and

You know what I love about earrings like that? They could be worn with a variety of looks. (Like the ones I so fantastically won last month. I've worn them almost every day. My other earrings are jealous).
Anyway, I would go with these:
For Dinner--The Black Halo Jacki O Mini in Stem with my hair in a half updo and some strappy heels to sassy things up. I love Jackie O.
The Dressy Event--Black Halo White Jane Sheath. I don't have the shoulders to wear this myself, but I think it complete the whole hot goddess look. And one shoulder necklines beg for earrings that like.
The Flapper--Wouldn't they be cute with the Velvet Peacock Teresita Dress, too? It'd be a nice contrast to the layers and short length.

Gorgeous earrings. I just got back into gold jewelry after spending the last 20 years wearing only silver. Love the quartz stone too. After perusing the chickdowntown.com site, I would match up the tear drop earrings with the ALICE + OLIVIA Tank Dress with Full Skirt. Such a flirty look. It would be a combo I would wear out with my girlfriends for cocktails or out salsa dancing with BJ.
